So I'm at one of my customers homes today and his empty trash bins are still sitting at the curb. I figure I'll just roll them up the driveway for him.
The recycling bin's lid was open so I peek inside. There's nothing in there except this round metallic object at the bottom of the can. It look just like a plumbing part to me. I figure it's from a faucet. But I also think hmm that looks like a ring.. I grabbed a stick and turned it over. It was stuck to the bottom of the can but it came loose fairly easily. hmmm I think that's a ring..
I tilt the can and pull out this mans silver ring. I'm like WOW!!

So I take the ring up to the husband and wife who were in their yard.. I say, does this look familiar?
She looks at it and says no. He looks at it and says no. I'm thinking to myself, are you sure? Then she says, ohhh my son's g/f left him and broke his heart. He tossed away the ring she gave him. So they gave it to me.
I let them know he can have it back anytime he wishes.

This is ring 48 I've found this year. =) It reads like silver on my Minelab. No markings are on it.
