a first for me

Hello guys and gals...actually found this a few weeks back... But computer problems couldn't post on one of my best finds thus far.....was hunting a spot where an old homesite use to be was finding a little clad.....went up to a small oak tree hunting the base and got a good signal......pinpointed down about 5 inches ....my p.p started chirping...unfortunately I was on the side of a root.....so I started digging the other side...getting a stronger chirp finally seen the edge I......knew it was silver......it was standing strait up...the more I dug the bigger it got .....I knew it was bigger than a quarter...now I'm really excited....finally got it surgically removed lol and I'm jumping for joy...my first walking lady...wooohooooo......what's funny the tree probably wasn't even there when it was dropped...and yes I searched many more times around it haha.....thanks and enjoy

Thanks wolf...went back a few days later and got mid 80s on my at pro....down in a hole where a tree had been started pinpointing felt something in hole was shaking it......lots of jingle...I was like man I've got a cache....... Pulled it out and it was a pink plastic egg....with 3.00 change (clad) in it.....lol....oh well still a rush for a few intense seconds haha

GREAT dig! You know, I've come to realize that every half dollar find is a great find. After 20 years of digging, I've only ever dug 7 halves total--which is not many!
