On a remote beach - A nice 14k wedding band to start the first day of the new year and my Caribbean Vacation!

But what is the coin? It has a nice weight to it but is it old or just some crap off a cruise ship?

Thanks if anyone can help!!

the coin looks like a fake cob. the ring looks real.

Nice finds, congrats! As a newbie detectorist, I can't speak to the authenticity of the coin, but even if it is "crap off a cruise ship" I bet it got your heart pounding to find it. Must have been a real fun hunt. (Can you tell I'm envious of your finds? I've been sifting through endless, seemingly empty sand beaches of the Florida coast on my trip south lol, with only $.63 in clad to show for it.)

Hope the rest of your vacation is awesome too.

Was SO hoping it may have been areal coin so I could stay on vacation!!!

Congrats on some nice finds.

Congrats on some nice finds. Hopefully someone will chime in on the coin which is very interesting.

1736 Spanish Colonial 8 Escudos replica from what I could pull up...fake, but still way cool and "a keeper" in my boat.

The real deal would have been gold like that beautiful wedding band, not copper.

Congrats!!
