Gidday Amigos.

While its true there are no guarantees in this world. And many people can spend a life time and not strike big with treasure. And yet its easy to get disheartened Amigos.

Yet finds do occur for those who persist.

Gold digger was left 'shaking' after finding 4.3kg nugget following nearly 40 years of searching for big prize.

A former garbage collector turned gold digger has found what could be one of the largest gold nuggets ever discovered worth about 235 thousand USD. Syd Pearson struck gold in the form of a 4.3kg nugget when digging in the Australian state of Victoria.

Syd Pearson, who prospects for a hobby, has found what is believed to be one of the largest gold nuggets ever discovered This massive 4.6kg gold nugget was eventually sold to a private buyer in the USA. The gold digger who named the nugget after his wife Catherine said he 'sat there and shook' at the time.

The 68-year-old has talked about how his metal detector was set off, and he heard the distinctive "clink" as he chipped the soil with a pick axe. But Syd still believed it was a "rabbit trap or can" and was shocked by his discovery in December last year.

"I never let it go, I just sat there and shook," he said.?It?s not just the value of it, I?ve achieved something," added Mr Pearson."I spent 37 years trying and I always dreamt of finding the big one. I was persistent and never gave up.??

And that is secret Amigos being persistent and never giving up.

Ya never know when dame fortune shines on you!

That is a cool story, and good on him for finding his dream nugget. Quite the bucket lister at that and I wonder what size would of scratched the itch if it would of been smaller.

Travelled the outback for 2 months but never got to detect-one of life's little unfulfilled wishes. Then again to find a silver dollar would fill the dustiest bucket lister for me-50+ yrs and still looking.

Just a sliver of one that size would have make me shake. What a great way for him to highlight his joy of metal detecting.

Yeah amigo they was excellent photographs. The reason why I believe the story revived little attention from the media. Is news channels prefer to tell bad news than good news.

That is why I rarely watch the TV news amigo. I just live on my island in Bliss doing my own thing.

You have to enjoy the trip...not the ending. I've been chasing some stagecoach loot for a decade. It would ruin the fun id I ever found it....LOL
