Was out in the mountains again not thinking I'd find much. Came across a little old school in the middle of nowhere and decided to give that a shot. Was finding mostly change and junk the first hour. After awhile though got a really nice silver ring I imagine is going to clean up nice, as I was getting ready to leave decided to dig one last signal on the way out and sure enough popped out a nice little 14k gold ring. Don't know why it is but those getting ready to leave signals are often good stuff. A few other things came up a obliterated old lipstick, I think a home crude part of a bell, a neat old button, and a piece of cheap jewelry. Finally nice to have something to post after just having no luck for awhile.

Nice finds! Glad to see some payoff after your bad luck streak.
Thank you, I'm glad I finally found something my frustrations were growing lol. I get flustered far too easily.

Thank you. I just get frustrated easy. I've put countless hours into this hobby and too often compare my effort to others and just find with all my time I've not found anything superb. But I'm super happy to have two nice rings from one place.

Sweet. Great finds glad you got some goodies on your trip out to the mountains, out of the way spots like that are good to hunt because maybe no one up that way detects so it can be possibly a virgin area that is all yours each time you go up there.

The AT Pro is around that price and very reliable and has simple modes to get you started. I'm sure other have good ideas as well so wait and see what others say. I love my AT Pro and bonus is the customer service with them is great. But just my opinion on said matter.

Congrats on the precious metal two-fer! Those look great. And I totally empathize; sometimes logging on here feels like everyone else is finding incredible things and you're somehow left out of the club. (I'm in North Carolina which has plenty of colonial history and 99% of the time when I go out I find nothing older than a wheat cent). But your rings prove the old adage, that your very next plug could be hiding something awesome. Thanks for sharing!
