I have gotten together with Mastereagle two or three times and hunted. Since we found very little stuff to warrent a post on here, the "good stuff" has been setting on my card table. I have assembled some of the things because I wanted to share a few cool thing with you all.

Here is everything I have not showed of relevance in other post and my very current finds.

Last night I found two Mercs and a Wheatie on an hours hunt with Mastereagle. It was 'his' place, so I will keep my abuse to a minimum.

I was super stoked to find my first Pocket watch that was in decent condition. Anyone know a date on this? I was thinking maybe 60's or 70's...just guess.

Don't ya hate stuff like this when your hunting coins. You just gotta dig it when it knocks your headphones off! :P

Found this old hinge or hanger that says ROME.............

Does ANYONE recognize this? I found it pretty deep in a very old yard. It broke off of something. It is clear acrylic and has a kind of confetti substance or rock suspended in it as well as a coin or token. Wierd.

Here is the back.

This is very thin copper and about the size of a half dollar. I wondered if this was an old powder jar cover or maybe off a very large button. Any ideas?

definitely an interesting group of goodies! Congrats!

Great group of finds Baldingboy, Congrats on the silver...
I figure anything that isn't a pull-tab, or a bottle cap is a good find... ;D
I plan on turning all my keys into a wind chime, someday...
Cotinued Good luck, & Happy hunting~

Leon,
Cool idea with the wind chime. I may steal that idea from you. :P

Cyn,
Thanks. It is strange what we find in the ground isn't it? :icon_scratch:

lol that it is!! Glad to see someone is finding stuff....I love looking at everyone's finds! Amazing the variety of stuff! Gives me hope that some folks find more than pulltabs and tin foil! lol

cool finds,,, and mercs are always good...

Great finds, BB. Love those Mercs. That strange item with the coin in it reminds me of a paper weight. I like the idea of a wind chime made with found keys. See you soon!!

Bridge End Farm,
Thanks. I was super surprised to dig that up. It came up like quarter and then jumped to 50 cent piece.

Looking forward to seeing you all in Louisiana.
