A little silver and gold for the pile

I got in a few more hours hunting the low tide. Things started slow as usual but managed to get some keepers. The piece of a gold ring came out tarnished so I thought it might be junk but I was hopeful. I cleaned it at home and did an acid test and held 10k. The main surprise was the silver Rosie that blended with all the other crusted coins. It was another successful hunt that yielded gold, silver and $9.57 in clad. I have found several rosies after I tumbled them with the clad, they were so awful looking that I didn't think that they were silver. acid test kits are very nice to have to prove that it is indeed gold. congrats on the finds

Any day with both is a good day, even if they are small. Now that you say coffee I think I need a cup holder on my detector, maybe that will balance it better
