I hit some better spots this time, in the outer perimeter of a trashier camp area.

Still no silver but good enough luck with older Wheat (1920) and Indian Head Cents (A pitted 1895 & a well worn 1900).

By far the best discovery was a silver plated Art Deco or Victorian style ring about 6 inches down in some nice, loose, dark soil. The cuff link was about 50 feet away and appears to be from the same time period. A more modern heart ring was not far away.

Thanks for Looking!
Nick

Nice finds :icon_thumright:
Thank you, antmike915! I once had a cousin that called herself Aunt Mike...

Nice hunt! That 1900 Indian is really nice.
Thanks, Noah_D! It wasn't very far away from the ring or the 1920 Wheat...

Great cuff link!
Thanks, terrafirma! It still has some nice color to it. I think they came bent like that...

Love that indian! Congrats!
Thanks, Bart@Big Boys Hobbies! Indian Head Cents are just so special...

Always full of surprises, Joe-Dirt. Quite a mix of known situations there from camping, to picnicking, to gambling, to hunting, to dumping...

Looks like some nice finds Wildcat.
Thank you, Trezurehunter! Sure wish that Sarsaparilla bottle was still in one piece... :sadsmiley:
