Managed to get out for a couple of brief hunts Monday and yesterday. Brief because the temps are in the 30's and it hurts my bones these days! We started off in a small park I just discovered, and managed to dig up a rinky-dink key necklace, a working lighter, a naughty flip token, another token, a 1957 Canadian nickel, a small silver ring and $5.17 in clad. My buddy did about the same on clad, but also found a '52 rosie. Okay, nothing very exciting here, but...

...we decided to try a well known park that I've always assumed would have been hammered by now. Never looked there because it's just way too obvious. Well, I guess others may have assumed the same thing. The high temp was 35 degrees and windy, so we didn't last long at all, but in about 30 minutes we got about $14 in clad between us. I got a '50 wheat and my buddy got a nice silver ring. The tabs, trash and slaw are thick there, so I'm hoping for some gold once it's warm enough to dig again!

Great finds! Looks like you have a nearly un-hunted park there. Congratulations! Thanks for postinmg.
