so today we headed to a new field, the view was pretty, but we got bored of digging shot gun cases… so after a couple hours wandering about, we called it quits and headed back to yesterdays super field. We did ok considering only a couple of hours and we had been over it yesterday!

got some coins, 1948 six pence, 1919, 1916, 1912 and a 1904. Musket balls, lead, pot mend, old nail, think I found some more bits of the pilgrim badge 🤔 a couple of Jettons, but my fav find was this darling little button, so pretty! xx

I'll take your slow day, any day of the week.
Pretty button!
Liking the deep green patina on the coppers, for over a 100yrs old they've stood the test of time.
Cool picture of the white furry-what is it?
