Found yesterday (along with MANY other broken plate parts). I've researched Albert Pick Co, but can't seem to find a list or anything on how to date via the marks on the back. This one is pretty clear. Anyone got some help? Thanks for looking! (The site is a demolished nightclub that dates back to the early 1900's)

Albert pick supplied lots of wares for hotels and their eateries. These were called restaurant ware, and the pattern was H 32....there were lots and lots of patterns. From what I have seen, your mark does not look too terribly old but that depends on what you consider old. I would say about 1920s through the 40s.

Sound about right.

I believe it’s post 1926, which is when Albert Pick & Co, was sold to a group of New York investment bankers to become the Albert Pick Company Inc. (without the ampersand). They then merged with L. Barth & Co, to become the Albert Pick Barth Company but continued to trade using the "Albert Pick Co. Inc." name as their mark until at least the start of WWII. Not sure about marks thereafter.

Incredibly close to there, yes
One of the biggest Mafia strongholds in the country. I believe you can find records of a major fire in one of the casinos there in Newport. I don't remember the year, but it might help with a more definitive date for you.
