Took a hike at my springs site yesterday afternoon
Stumbled upon this Adena narrow stem

... great find. Does it ever seem that they find you instead of you finding them? I understand about putting in the time but you really pickup a lot of nice artifacts..

Nice Adena. Most of your finds seem Archaic. Maybe they got out of the cold & moved down here before the Woodland period!

Very cool find. We find Adena types or variants here on the coast of New England. But not many. The general consensus is that all of these traveled here, as they are always isolated finds. It?s interesting that I don?t hear much about the Narrow Stemmed type here like the one in your post.
Another beauty though! Congrats!
