Advice on Destin?

I will be vacationing in Destin next month and was hoping to get some advice on best locations to beach hunt and best hotels near those spots. Anyone have suggestions/guidance? Thanks mates!

I've only been there once but I swear I walked two miles of that beach and only found one tiny silver charm and a bunch of beer bottle caps, BUT I think that was before I had my 705.

Just be sure to hit the volleyball courts hard, and crank that sensitivity up as high as you can get away with.

It's a BEAUTIFUL place to be even if you don't find anything.

Now that I think about it I was still swinging a Fisher F2 (my first year) which hated the wet sand. And I forgot to mention the sand is snow white and kept super clean, but if you hit it just as the sun comes up you will find a lot of washed up sunglasses and other stuff that people lose in the water.
