I wasn’t able to get to Vero as early as I wanted during the week due to work, but the weekend came and I figured why not. It was a Long day swinging and no luck. I did dig a square nail with a piece of wood still attached that I thought was pretty cool, no telling when or where it’s from. It is iron, I dig everything on a treasure beach.

After a long day on the beach went to Lunch and I decide to stop by a park on the way home so I could actually dig some targets and the park was dead no targets anywhere other than shredded cans🤦‍♂️ I managed one quarter and decided to go over by an older looking tree on the walk out and I’m glad I did, found a nice 1960s era Silver Egyptian Revival cuff bracelet.

Here locally I saw an article of a man & his daughter finding 3 Spanish coins north of Vero. One of them was gold.
Word on the streets is that the find was staged......im not sure bout that, and either way they found that coin somewhere and sometime. I will take there word for it and offer a congrats to them !!

The article was in a local BeachSide paper that gets delivered a couple times a week. Mostly ads but a few stories of local interest. It was supposedly his daughter's 1st find, a silver & gold coin so yeah sounds a little odd. But still we did have major beach erosion all along the Treasure & Space coast so who knows. I know the surfers are out I droves this weekend.
