Walked an old road and these are the finds good enough for display. Not shown is all the junk I found too! The side of a road is a real trash dump! I have to research the GE plaque and the aluminum token, but, I cleaned up the "gold filled" pendant and the abused Franklin half. It's been a while since I found one of those. They were only made for 16 years, so, not a common find in my area. I find many times more walking halves and Kennedy's than I do Franks. The ammo was all dated from 1941 to 1953. The pocket watch doesn't have any visible I.D. markings on it. Just plated junk, but, an interesting find regardless. A couple of the keys were fairly old too. What do you figure the "W" one is? Willys maybe? $5.24 in change, 7 wheat cents, and a Canadian cent round out the rest of the coins.

Very Nice!!!! Congrats!!!! It took Me from 1990 to last year to hit My first Franklin! Then I ended up finding two last year for the only two I've ever found!

Nice group of finds, well done! I've only found 1 Franklin in 30+ years, fewest of every other type of half- elusive SOB's.

Good finds, congrats! You must have been close to RR tracks with all those flattened coins?

It was a two location hunt. The first part was close to a RR track, but, after 15-20 minutes and finding junk and flattened coins, I gave up and went elsewhere.
