Found in an area I have found full points at before and found amongst a bunch of flakes and chips. Am I being too hopeful by thinking that this is a triangle point? I found one other triangle point here before, but it was a little more obvious.. thoughts? Found in Upstate SC

I’m an amateur , but I’ll take a shot. It looks like the base or bottom of a broke point to me. Good work

Sorry, not seeing it here either. Keep looking.

Edit: It is good to be hopeful but that piece does not exhibit flake removal scars or any other indicators from your pic that it was made by the hand of man.

No. But both corners look both useful and intentional. The heavy one is essentially a burin; the other, delicately formed, might be a skin piercer for sewing or a tattoo needle.

However this was, I've found enough field quartz, but none of it small and angular like that is.

One opinion of many, and worth what you're paying for it.
