Amazing college ring, could this be 1862??

Found this ring today as well, this one is special to me in the fact I go to the University of Washington. It was founded in 1861 and this ring is marked 1862. My friend at the scrap place held onto it for me. It has some incredibly old looking marks on the inside I can't identify... Even if it isn't 1862 it is still very old either way. I should also note Caduceus logo on the sides were used in the medical field around 1872? Medical Logo Change maybe that's an indicator? Any thoughts are great!

Hmm oh well, here are the markings, the only one I can tell is on the right and it looks like a bird?

Yeah I was thinking 1900 to 1920. The maker date might make it a little earlier. Now just get your medical degree so you can wear it!

Another amazing ring! I need to find somebody in the scrap business. I can't believe anyone would actually sell that for scrap! I wish I could save all of these rare, antique rings with the fine craftsmanship and quality from the melting pot...
