The quartz looks interesting but it's hard to see the gold in that other one that looks more like pyrite or mica - can you see it by eye well?

Have you had the specimens tested?
Don..

I have not yet had them tested they were found the day of posting. So it wont be long. Most of the funding im able to supply for my project is spent on exploration of public lands for the discoveries of gold and heavy metal mineral occurrence near the Kings Mountain and Upper Piedmont faults.
