we only had an hour tonight so a quick waddle around our favourite field and it doesn’t disappoint! We have had lots of rain in the last couple of days, so digging was a joy! No idea what this little silver thing is… but its got a hallmark! Musket balls, lead, buttons, a thimble and other assorted bits.

Excellent! The silver piece looks like a shirt collar stiffner to me but the only ones I'm familiar with are plastic. Other than that I have no idea and will look again at this thread to see what the pros on here say.
I enjoy your posts, thank you, and great luck next time out!

Cool piece of silver
Should be easy to date with those crisp hallmarks.
Great short hunt.

i fear friday Will be our last evening hunt 🥲 we will then only have weekends… not sure how I will cope … but lots of research needs to be done… which I love as well, so hopefully we will get thru 😂😂

Tesoro compadre, which can find needles, but looking for something with a bigger coil/detects deeper, waterproof salt/fresh user friendly.
