Found in about 140 ft in the Gulf Of Mexico
Seems to be an Admiralty Anchor
Does the square Stock spot suggest it was a wooden stock?

STT, Great Save on this old anchor. This one looks old. Just curious, where do you plan to display this piece? I'm sure this was a little work and coordinated effort to bring this to the surface, but by all looks it seems to be worth the effort. Let us know when you can get this anchor dated. Nothing else in that area? I'd hit it hard with a metal detector. Also, you need to check into preservative methods to keep that anchor from further deterioration. Oh, and welcome to Tnet! :icon_thumleft:
