A big surprise was in the median! At a depth of about 5 inches was a big US Navy anchor pin! It's sterling silver and I believe that it might be about 50+ years old? Not sure when the navy fazed out
the sterling silver on their uniforms, 1950's a possibility? Any navy guys out there know?
Also dug out 2 wheaties, a couple of tokens, and a foreign coin.
Finds from the median so far in 6 years of hunting:
69 Silver Roosevelt dimes
44 Mercury dimes
2 Barber dimes
14 Silver war nickels
22 Silver Washington silver quarters
4 Walking Liberty Half dollars
1 Franklin Half
1 Seated Quarter
530 Wheat pennies
18 pieces of silver jewelry
