What is this animal bell from and how old is it? It seems to be copper-plated iron and still clangs!
Cow bell/goat bell. They still currently sell similar versions but yours could be anywhere from 75-100 years old. Great grandma has a crib in her barn with many of those in there

In early days a lot of farmers put that type of bell on dairy cows to locate them. Nice find
