Picked up $2k over the past week in halves, and still have 1 more box to process. Haven't found much in the last $1500. except for a handful of NIFCs and three interesting coins:

one was a 1982 half that had the center milled out, almost all the copper. I thought it might be a trick coin, but did not find the reverse side.
the second was another milled coin, with a peso coin stuck or glued into it. it did not mate up to the former coin.
and last but certainly not least, I found a half that had absolutely no nickel clad layer. it is all copper!

After I finish the last $500. box, I'll post pictures of all my finds!

thank you!

the "un-plated" if real is worth a bunch, the parts of a magic coin are sellable on Ebay. I get $8-9 for complete Scotch & soda...... and.... wash your hands:laughing7:

Also, I found out the half without the apparent nickel clad layer was altered chemically to remove it and not a bonafide layer-less coin.
