Well I’ve been on a dry spell it’s amazing how this hobby humbles you we your hot and pulls you back in when you cold. Possumcop and I went to check out that Mississippi mud and it was rough. Old land but the Katrina properties are real trashy. Good news is got a thimble, bad news it was plated, good news is is wasn’t smashed )

I just got back from the beach and searched at least 3 hours and only had clad to show for it. Not a lot either only $3 bucks worth didn't even cover the gas to get there.

Thanks Brandan it was a hard hunt my junk bad weighed 8lbs and I came home with a thimble. I’ll mark that down as a success ✔️

Great save on that thimble. I have yet to find one. 8 lbs of trash? Sounds like you're hunting my neck of the woods. I've started wearing a backpack for trash in order to get the weight out of my pouch. I guess no one follows the old Boy Scout rule of "Carry out what you carry in, plus a little more"
