A funny thing though.
I found this spoon.

Clearly marked, it had a date on it, 1847! (I know...that's not the date made. :laughing7: )

Thing is, I went from that date to a fairly fresh pocket spill.

That spoon is awesome- Congrats! I think I may have needed CPR seeing that gold coin come out of the ground - yikes!

Looks like a nice walk Whadi. At least you found some coffee money. You'd have to walk a little more to get enough for a gallon of gas though !

I find alot of those rogers bros. From what I understand they did make some solid sterling..they specialized in silver plate but I've not yet found a solid sterling
