Found another trime in the river this evening unfortunately thin silvers like trimes and half reales never hold up well in the water. Pewter buttons like this one,however, come out much better than on land so maybe one day I’ll get a nice USA button out there

Ahh toasted you always seem to bring the goods to the table and have made me jealous with some of your super early finds .. thanks for sharing .. I know of one USA rev war button found near me and would love to save one .

Those 3 cent coins are difficult to find. The USA buttons are much more difficult!!!
