Hey Gang,
Today I dug an old brass padlock marked G & B MFG. CO., but can't find any info on the company or the lock. It looks like a pancake lock, but I'm not sure. Any help would be helpful. Thanks in advance. :) Breezie

Can't find anything either. Sure looks 19th century. Should clean up nice. Hope someone can help you. Thanks for sharing.

Breezie .. The info I got suggested it was made by the Gilbert & Bennett Mfg. Co.
There is a lot of history about the company on the net.

Locks are pretty neat. I found one of these last year next to one of the cellar holes of my Great-great- great- grandfathers old farmstead. Quite sentimental to me!
