Found this ringing a cornfield about 30 miles west of Charleston SC..about 8 in deep..rang up 81..anybody have any ideas?

CreakyDigger..you might be on to something with the iron cross..found out there was a pow camp about 3 miles down the road and I did find a 1943 silver dime in the same areaWelcome to TNet from upstate NY. It's a Christian cross adopted by Prussia and later Germany as a war symbol, called by them an Iron Cross. It's history for this use dates back centuries.
Can't find any..and yea I think it's a pinky ringAny marks inside? And, either you have huge fingers or that is a ladies/childs ring.
