I found these two buttons at a permission yesterday. Does anyone have any ideas as to how old they are? The house dates to the early 1900’s but I suspect the property might have been in use for much longer.

You’re definitely on an old spot, the button with the two holes is a blowhole button, early to mid 1700s
Yes, & the other one is not a button but an 18th C horse Harness Mount.
