I was so grateful for the help with identifying the old cast iron French door spring. Went back to the area the other day. Found a couple of things that I can't figure out. Also found a couple of early 1900s IHC, which I presume helps me with the age.
First item seems to be some sort of a stopper perhaps. Second item seems to be more utilitarian, as opposed to decorative, though may be heart shaped. Last item says 'Trademark.
C&H New York. Bayonet Lock Patents Pending.' As always, I'm thankful for the kindness of this group. I learn so much!

First item you called a "stopper" looks like a pull handle which a rope went in to start a small engine.

Last item appears to be some type of plumbing fixture....????

Thanks for the input. #3 looks like a faucet or even part of hose, as was mentioned.
Do the inscribed words mean anything? Can't find this on Google

Trademark.

Item 2 may be a broken cheekpiece from a bridle bit. They come in all shapes and sizes. They are a somewhat common detecting find.

Good job and pictures ARC
Heh... why thank you Gare... lol

I do still occasionally catch a post of a what is it that is in its infancy and needs addressing.
Most days i am half here and don't really ever lurk the what is its much these days.
I figure i have reached a point where i can step back and watch others have at it.

Being I spend most of my lurk time in The Random Chat Thread and only reload "what's new" from bit to bit... i don't see them posted till after others are already on it most times.

In the ole days for me here it was somewhat competitive with the solving of strange items.
Now with the advent / implementation of Google Lens and such i can now "take a load off". heh

I will still chime in when need be...... which is not as necessary these days it seems.

Besides.... we have many other "solvers" roaming around here these days... which is a good thing :)
