I went to Vilano just to see what it looked like and it is getting pounded. Hoping some good stuff got churned up and that it clears up a bit by tomorrow.

Hopefully, it pulls some of the sand that piled up when Sandy blew by. Good luck to any that are going. I'm heading to a few sweet spots inland to see if the rain will cause a few of the deep targets to pop.

Spent a couple hours at Vilano and found ~93 cents of really nasty looking modern coins, part of a lure, what looks like a throttle to a boat motor, a pull tab, and a sharks tooth. Think I'm going to program my detector for jewelry only :-) I swear one of those clad quarters was 2 ft down.
