I'd love to hear some reviews, even if brief, of anyone's experience using the 16.5 Excelerator coil on the Minelab Explorer.
I was thinking that this might be a way to get enough extra depth to actually reach some targets that are in a field that used to be a working farmers field, but has been overgrown with weeds for the past 40 years at least. The weeds have been matted down season after season (this is in Michigan), and when I go out in this field with the detector in the fall or early spring when the weeds are at their lowest / thinnest, they are still too thick with matted roots, etc., to even get any detections. I know there's got to be stuff in this field - even if it is iron farm relics.
Thanks!
