welcome hoze, now that the ground is froze. i do not live in the joliet area, but i do get further south of there when i go to a private recreation club. now is time to research and try to get permission to detect private property when spring comes. learn proper digging form so you don't leave any holes etc. what would you like to find? recent coins, old coins, relics, if you have any questions just ask. i am pretty new to this also, but with detecting with others i have learned a lot in the last year.

thank you Iam very new I just got my MD pioneer505 about a mouth ago. I barely know how to use it . I have only been out two times . And now we got snow.

welcome Hoze im not looking for a partner right now ... I live in Streator ill..... and a few months ago I was in your neck of the woods looking for al capones treasure... I was looking around old rt 66.since your close it might be a good idea to hunt for it...... research mobster treasure Illinois...best of luck..
