I found this complete Duffy's whiskey bottle a while back. Usually old houses had a burn pit and this could have come out of one. The local towns around here burned around 1900. I always thought this bottle was from the fire. I couldn't believe it was whole. Melted marbles are some of my favorite finds! I would love to see any other melted items!! Stay safe! If it's complete why not save it? I have 2 small melted ones. Havent come across melted marbles yet. Yours are cool for sure.

The bottle is a pretty cool recovery. Found lots of melted glass over the years but never a whole bottle. I would say it's a pretty rare find.
The marbles as well, just don't even get any whole even it seems from the fields.

No, I've found bits of melted bottles but nothing even close to being whole.

Your bottle as most have said is a special find, glass in the molten stage requires a slow cool down period to avoid breakage.

The only glass I've seen to the exception is the ruperts drop. were the molten glass is dropped into water.

Always find melted shards but I did find and keep this milk glass 1930-40 cosmetic jar....just because it looked cool. It is fire cracked but still an interesting piece, other than that, my wife is not a big fan:laughing7:
