✅ SOLVED Approx. age of silver button?

Any clues as to how old this button might be? I found it in the river at a crossing that dates from the 1700's to present. I did find it mixed in with some stuff that dates to the 1830's, but there was some modern there to. I believe it to be silver and stone. Thanks...

Based on your button having an integrally-cast loop (not manufactured separately and applied to the button's back), your button most probably dates from the 1700s to the early-1800s. It could be even earlier... but based on the age of the relics you found around it, it is likely to have been made in the late-1700s to early-1800s.

Thanks CbG... I found this in my silver coin spot. Of course, I'm imaginig the poor dude getting swept over in a flood and losing his money and this fancy button. That's what keeps me at it!

I agree with late 18th century to early 19th century. The coolest buttons in the history of mankind were made then. Your's is a beauty.
