I just made it back from a week in Aruba. Spent all my detecting time at the beach, mostly in the water. I was using the new Equinox 900 and was pleased with how it worked. I found a few items that had been down in the sand or coral bottom for a long time....as some were totally encased in coral. Here's a photo of the finds I brought home. I decided to leave all the other stuff there, such as 6-7 lbs of lead, copper and brass scrap, and 130+ pull tabs along with all the other aluminum and foil trash. 11 rings in total, 2 silver and 3 gold. some silver earrings and a nice silver bracelet too. Some of these items are still in the cleaning process, but, they've all had some sort of cleaning done to them so far. $7.30 in U.S. coinage along with some Aruba Florins, a Canadian "twonie" and a 200 peso Columbian coin. Believe it or not, all the hot wheels were found out in the water! Wonderful friends, Good hunting, great food, and a nice tropical setting. What's not to like?:laughing7::icon_thumright:

Nice !! Bet the water was warm !!
Yeah, I could stay in it all day without a wetsuit. Rarely did though as it's tiring trying to scoop in that hard packed sand and coral.
