Good Afternoon,

Yesterday I stopped by at my family's old farm for about a 1/2 hour. Well... I found one wheat, 1937 and this asain coin. Can anyone help identify? I would like to get some history as I think it was probably brought back from overseas by my uncle. It would be a good story if true.

Thanks and Happy Hunting!

Dan

Sorry that I can't give you any definite help... I have very amateur interest in Asian artifacts based on a very shaky background of a couple years of Japanese in high school, a small collection of hand-painted antique porcelain and the quests to translate the signatures on those, and just personal interests.

I did a quick google image comparison search and as expected got nothing; hopefully someone with real knowledge can help you on here soon. :)

Do you know the time period your uncle would have been overseas, and which area(s) he was in? That would probably narrow down the lists of possibilities...
