Automatic GB vs. tracking

Hello,

I've noticed with my Multi Kruzer that the automatic GB values do not always match the tracking GB values. At first I thought my machine was not working properly because I was on 70s ground and it was giving me lower values. Last time I was on wet 50s ground and the tracking values jumped to 70s and 80s. But I had the clearest and lowest signals with it, so it seems that MMK is looking for the optimum GB when tracking. Have you observed anything similar with other detectors?

have never used a Multi Kruzer but I have used the Xterra 705 which has auto ground tracking also from my understanding of the auto ground tracking it is always adjusting the ground balance as you detect to maintain a stable machine so I would say the Kruzer is doing what it is supposed to while in the tracking mode
