HI all:
As you can guess I returned to the site where I found the half dime and carefully worked over about ¼ of it . No other coins yet but several tools and iron—left them sitting on a rock // but brought this out//
looks to be a blacksmiths fuller tool,- kinda neet// JP
This site was probably a shop, tavern, store, house—the last of it torn down in the 1850s//

That's the kind of hunting I love. The old sites with relics and old coins. Thinks of all the things that went on at that site 100+ years ago. Love this hobby. Congrats on a great site and I hope you uncover some nice history.
