Bank holiday 2022

So after the excitement of yesterday‘s find… we set out with high hopes for today… but… it was not to be. It was 4.5 miles of cold, hot and at times wet.. the field was really tough on the ankles, but we found a few interesting items, including this amazing part horse shoe, another monster 😍. Very little lead in this field which is unusual for our fields. What I originally assumed was the top of a thimble has hot holes on the top? Thats it for detecting till Friday now, it’s going to be a long week 😱 x Will put a picture of the scenery today on the Random picture thread as it really is a beautiful bit of England xx
