This one is pretty close too. I think it was made in Czecklosavakia (or how ever thats spelled?). There MUST be markings on it somewhere? :-\ :)

Very nice and dang that blad came out better than I thought it would I am so impressed, what about close ups of the matkings? The most information on bayonets I found was a dealer on the internet located in LLano texas.

I've one just like it - standard German issue during WWII M-98 Mauser but most Axis countris made them so it could be German, Austrian, Czech etc.

Correct Harry! And the markings don't necessarily mean where it was used as they traded and sold those things between countries all the time. Monty

Right on. Sorry, I didn't mean to imply it was from the Czech army... its just different enough from my Mauser bayonets that I was happy to find a photo of this variation.

I understand, wasn't meaning to sound like a wisea$$, my bad. My favorite one is one that came with a Persian Mauser and it has all the writing in Arabic or whatever they speak or write there. Farsi? Monty
