Bayonet ID

The only markings I can see is the crown. Length of blade 13.5 inch, Height 2.5 inch, Width 1.25 inch, Total length 18 inch, Muzzle ring just under an inch. Dimensions are a little off as there has been damage. Found in Eastern Ontario Canada. Would love to know what you think as to name and date.

Also would love to also know what type/name of gun it was used on. Thanks

I think its a French one
You can find apicture of a similar one on this website Fusil 1766, ou 1763 léger.
Since I can't speak french I also don't know what it is exactly.

I don't really have a good explanation. Just thought non British countries wouldn't have a crown.
