I find all kinds of stuff like that out in the gulf, really no way of telling what it came off of, part of a boat, or a fishing pier, I busted some of mine up before an discovered it was a large bolt, but it sure didn't look like one before I busted it up, that iron really has a way with getting larger an some weird shapes as it is rusting away

I found some iron pieces on Treasure Beach. I didnt soak them in water and eventually they dried up and split apart on their own. I never found out what they were. Electrolysis was badly needed. ::)
