If you can't find something here, throw your detector in the trash can as your leave the beach:

Would love to hear some feedback from anybody that hunts these beaches.
Don't expect to hear from the top two beach hunters, seeing they're in china.
The next two are Ipanema Beach, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and Nice, France. Anybody?
How about you guys in the UK, anyone hunt Brighton Beach?
Or down under in Sydney?

If I lived near one of these beaches, I would be nightowling.
I'd be there when it cleared out at night and hunt til I couldn't.

Back in the 80's I spent a week in Rio. I took my Sony Betamax LOL camera with me. I was told that it was a bad idea. Well, I took it and walked across the street to the beach in Rio and I asked a police officer if I was safe taking it across the street. He said, You can go as far as I can see you. I went across the street and was immediately asked by a 14 year old boy if I needed a body guard. Rio would be great to detect but I can assure you that someone would try and take your detector from you. I would love to hear from someone who has detected there.

I seen a show on tv one time about how people would throw a a rake /classifier into the surf and drag it back towards them looking for jewelry and lost items,
I’m almost certain they were there in Rio or those extremely crowded beaches, they would start at the end of the day and work all night. If I remember right they all worked their turf and went to extreme measures to protect it. It was probably on National Geographic, History or travel channel. I can’t remember which one, it was definitely interesting.

Brighton beach in the Uk isn't busy everyday. It only gets like that on really hot days which are few and far between here.

I do have one friend that hunts a very busy china beach, very territorial to the point it is dangerous. He does well but not as good as you would expect seeing crowds like pictured. Hamid would be a good one to answer this also, I believe he hunts Morocco.
