Being too honest

Went to a school holiday function on the grandkid's account . Got seated across a table from a young couple of 'granola people' who'se child's name I never could determine . "STOP", DON'T", "QUIT!", "YOU'RE GONNA GET A TIME OUT!" .................None of these names were recognized by the unruly child and they looked across the table'doe-eyed' at me in search of sympathy ....................
