Bensons new propulsion system, and some birds

Hi all , Benson seems to be on the mend , here he is doing his thing earlier today

While I was waiting for Benson to finish his swim, a pair of Cuckoos flew over. They are normally quite hard to get near enough to get a photo, but I was lucky this time



The next 5 shots are of my ongoing struggle to capture a Swallow in flight





And lastly, I saw this Brown Argus butterfly sunning itself and it let me get quite near.

Now Ian I was sitting here trying to eat but, all I can do is sit here an gaze in awe of your beautiful shots! I fon't think I've ever seen a pic of cuckoos either !

Some more great shots Ian, particularly like the swallows on the wing.
I see Benson is better, gosh I bet you get lots of mud plattering off him, out of the water they come and just shake, and then the surpluss they just carry inside to the house. ouch!

YUP Benson is better for now, and I like to think that the de'cor of my house is "earthy"
