meMiner, sorry to hear about your detector being stolen from your car! I kinda know how that feels only they stole my car with the detector in it. Regardless stealing leaves a stolen from person feeling violated.....................63bkpkr

My preferance on the MXT Pro for nuggets is to run Relic mode and two tone with maybe a tad of disc no more than 1/2 to 1 on the disc dial. preset on the gain. That chirp on good targets it makes is attention getting, I use a 4.5DD or 6" dd detech exccelerator coil. I got a 1.7 grain nugget glued to a poker chip I use to test and tune the mxt on actual gold ground. I can get about 2.5" depth on that tiny nugget with the 4.5 DD in alkali desert soil. I do have to say though most my vlf nuggets I have found has been with the Gold Bug 2. And a few with the gpx4500.
