dont make fun of my blue print.trying to get dirt farther from hole and not have to shovel so high.or get in and out of hole, just thinking out loud,if i put 2 or 3 shovel loads in the 8 or 10 inch pvc and lift in it.any better ideas just no dam buckets, been there.i think i can make it for about 150 dollars
thanks brad Resized_20210119_195806.jpeg Resized_20201202_134111.jpeg Resized_20201202_134111.jpeg

Haven't done much drywashing, but when I did we dug the material
first, and then moved it to near the drywasher.

I do see the logic in your design, but I'm thinking it might cause
more problems than benefits. If you load the tube, swing over the
DW'er and then release the dirt, you're not standing there to control
the amount being fed to the DW.

If you want to move larger volumes of material to your DW location,
I'd use a wheelbarrow. Much easier than hauling buckets, and you'd
move much more volume.

thanks,i wonder what the belt is made out of?

To me looks like a heavy gauge semi clear plastic. Pretty cool design powered by a hand drill & moves a lot of stuff fast.If I needed one I'd build it :)

Not sure what that belt is made from but look up lay flat hose in a large diameter like 8 inch and you could split in 2 and have a very wide heavy duty PVC belt if you stitch it together or rivet it together. Look up Lay flat hose Irrigation for Agriculture 8 inch PVC. Also if you make the conveyor make sure to make the end adjustable with a way to tension your belt.

Put a round ring around your dive roll about 1/2" dia. It will track your belt and keep it centered and not track off, good luck, marion

Why can't you just move the drywasher next to the hole?

How deep is the hole now, and how much deeper do you plan to go?
Would be nice to have a partner to work topside while you work the hole.

A partner and I worked a 20 foot deep hole by building a tripod over the hole with a pulley at the top.
We used a 12v winch to hoist buckets of pay dirt out of the hole.

Before we partnered up he was climbing out of the hole everytime he filled a bucket.
Just by adding me as a helper topside he was able to more than triple his solo production.

Also much safer to have a pard just in case of a collapse.
If you were closer to me, I would have been happy to volunteer.

GG~

I always thought that was the Forman's job :laughing7: I have a set of Sam Raddings plans somewhere that has a conveyor belt tailings stacker for a drywasher. I always thought a double conveyor would be cool on my drywasher, a hopper feed and a tailings stacker.
