BIGGEST BULLETS I'VE EVER FOUND!!

For the good of the hobby I took one on the chin and went out for about an hour today. It was pretty chilly around 60, but I toughed it out for a bit. I went to a local school not far from home and found the stuff pictured below.
The 5 marks is a German coin dated 1989 D, does that mean we are minting their coins in Denver for them?? ;)
These 2 bullets were about 3 feet apart and are pretty big. They came up as quarter. Anyone know what they might be?

Merry Christmas to all

Good Luck and HH

Trust me people I know how lucky I have it here, I was in Pittsburgh last week ?:P.
That's pretty cool those bullets are 50 cal machine gun, they were about 6 inches down.
Maybe there are some more around there.

Good Luck and HH and Stay Warm

Ditto! I found one in my front yard and an animated gif made from some frames of a bullet test:

Here's you an idea... since those aren't rare, if you don't mind tearing it apart, the armor piercing rounds have a hardend core that makes a great mini center punch for drilling steel. Just a tip from the days of working in the machine shop.

I would imagine that you could pick up the trail of the bullets, or casings because they would have had to fallen in a line.

Ah Yes the Cool 60 degrees....

When I first moved to AZ (desert) I laughed at the people with winter coats on in 60 degree weather, but after spending some years there, the blood thinned and Burrrrr to anything under 70 degrees.... I moved back east, but chose FL just to stay warm! Love looking at the snow from a distance though! Warm thoughts for all of you!
