My Stealth 920I scoop is 9"x5"x13.5", a full scoop of sand in waist deep water is rather heavy. But makes for easier recovery.

I always consider the 920 for fresh drop hunters, it takes a wider bite where as the 720 took a deeper bite being taller and longer, both have the 20 degree handle angle.
5” high x 9 inches wide and 13.5” long,
6" high x, 7 inches wide, and 14 inches long

RTG years ago made a monster SS scoop (Hercules) and Kelly co use to sell a big aluminum scoop, had a bent handle.

Comparison photos of my 720 Stealth and an aluminum scoop that may have been a "Harvey", I can't remember. I added a lip to it cut off a shovel and painted it with silicon embedded marine epoxy paint, and custom handle. Assist handle is from a Razor scooter.

8" high x 7" wide x 16" long

The Beach Brute II by RTG that was sold by Kellyco. I still have one, mine I installed a stainless steel lip on it to protect the lib from damage and a lift handle. It is my backup scoop to my Stealth 920I.

The gold standard for all-purpose large scoops is 8-9" wide. Any bigger, and you'll be getting quite a workout. Smaller scoops generally go deep faster (although it depends on the nose geometry), and better handle rocks. Personally, I see no reason to go wider than 8" even if you're speedrunning the surface drops.

Another thing to consider, is that the bigger the scoop, the less likely you will damage a large item like a cell phone, watch, or long chain, etc.

Just me but the smallest scoop I will use is 9" wide. When hunting in the water with swells and waves I need to recover the target before the next wave or swell rolls in and knocks me off the target.

Speaking of such, I got a signal and when sifting came up with a half a ring
Thought hey wonder if I cut it in half with scoop
Ran coil over and sure enough found other half. , Was using stealth 720
Had done that years and years ago but at that time didn’t dawn on me to look for other half. Lol

I also vote for T-Rex...because I haven't broken it, yet! Although I have caved it in a bit...[Broke 2 Stealths, and 2 other aluminum scoops.]
